External growth accessories with the acquisition of Sogedex's assets

On the 13th of December, Evolis acquired the assets of the Sogedex company specialised in identification accessories and supplies distribution.

 
Sogedex is the French leader in the production and distribution of personal and property identification accessories and supplies.

Active in the identification markets, with a primary focus on the security and public events segments, Sogedex markets its ranges in France, Europe and Africa, mainly to large groups, governmental and para-governmental organisations and local authorities, as well as via a network of resellers.    
         
For Evolis, the individual and property identification accessories sector offers major opportunities in terms of both markets and products. This business is closely linked to badges and cards (badge holders, card cases, lanyards…), is also complementary to Evolis' existing products and markets, and offers numerous commercial synergies.
In this way, Evolis aims to speed up the international development of Sogedex's scope of business, which is currently concentrated in France and Francophone Africa, by benefiting from the leverage offered by the current Evolis European network.
