New plastic cards in PETF are now available!
These new cards are to be used mainly with Securion printers but can also be used with the other printer ranges.
Typically these cards can be requested in some projects where high quality and durability are a must.
Please note that today Evolis is the only one on the market to propose this type of offer.
PETF cards advantages:
- PETF cards are more flexible than standard PVC ones, which makes them less likely to crack or warp in extreme temperatures. In example, they are recommended for use at ski areas or when laminating a card (the card is not bended).
- The PETF material makes the card stronger and more durable than a standard card that is 100% PVC. PETF cards work well in high-use applications where the cards have a barcode or a magnetic stripe used for access control, time and attendance or payment. Any application that requires frequent card swiping will want to use a PETF card.
- The PETF material is tear-proof: the inherent quality of the PET material, a much more resistant substrate than PVC, is recognised and used in toughest industrial environments.
- More respect for the environment: chlorine-free PET material, which makes the core of this product, is universally celebrated for its environmental respect compared with PVC.
