Evolis opens Tokyo office to strengthen sales in Asia

France, May 29, 2008 - Evolis, the European leader in plastic cards personalization solutions, announces the opening of a representative office in Japan.

A stronger presence in a market with huge opportunities

Evolis has operated in Japan for several years through a network of partner distributors, and now builds up its efforts in the Japanese market with the opening of a representative office in the heart of Tokyo. This move is a part of a global expansion strategy to capture a larger market share in Asia, thanks to a Japanese market, which is keen on innovative solutions and premium quality products.
This new office will help Evolis develop close relations with existing partners and support them in their
sales efforts. Evolis' local presence will also be vital in expanding the current distribution network and
approaching local integrators to partner with them on large implementation projects.

An approach in line with Japan’s core principles

The opening of this office is strategic for Evolis as Japan is among the most important and dynamic
markets for plastic cards personalization solutions. To fully meet the specific requirements of this market in terms of quality, technical assistance and marketing support, Evolis has appointed Jimmy Malmouche as Sales Manager. Jimmy Malmouche has solid experience of both the local culture and the card personalization industry. “With Jimmy on the field, we have a new major asset at Evolis.
