MGI Digital Graphic Technology and Evolis team up to provide advanced solutions for the plastic card industry
Angers, France, May 2007 – MGI, manufacturer of digital presses for plastic and paper substrates, and Evolis, supplier of advanced technology for plastic card personalization, announced today the inking of a major business development partnership.
Complementary expertise and products
Both companies, listed on the Paris Alternext market, have lined up their skills and complementary ranges of solutions to offer on-demand and comprehensive printing and personalization solutions for today’s plastic card.
This partnership makes it possible to print plastic cards in large volume and at blazing speed. The underlying platform to these premium performances is the digital Meteor DP40 Pro press from MGI. The cards are then individually personalized with text, magnetic encoding, smart card encryption (contact or contactless) through the Dualys, Securion and Quantum solutions provided by Evolis.
