Print your cards and badges on MAC OS X with the Evolis printers

Angers, France, October 28, 2008 - Evolis, the European leader in plastic card personalization solutions, once again proves its commitment to the Mac Community by making its new range of card personalization solutions compatible with Mac OS X.

Since its creation, Evolis has always been supporting Mac users by designing a Mac printer driver for Pebble, a printer that delivers color and personalized badges. Through the years, the Evolis offer grew richer and meets today the requirements of every card personalization need: monochrome and fourcolor process printing (photo-quality), graphic personalization (pictures, logos, texts, barcodes), lamination with holograms, data encoding (magnetic stripe, smart cards with and without contact).
Each Evolis solution has specific features to always answer all expectations:

  • The Tattoo2 range is ideal for single-sided personalization of color badges, singly or in small quantities. The solution targets SMEs, schools, clubs, associations and event organizers.
  • The Pebble and Dualys color printers benefit from various encoding options and provide advanced card personalization (single or dual-sided) in a single pass: access cards for hospitals and companies, multi-feature school IDs, transit passes, etc.
  • Securion makes it possible to personalize and laminate badges that require premium security, such as driving licenses or official identity cards.

In order to pass on the benefit of its latest innovations to all Macintosh users, Evolis now offers new drivers to make its entire range of printers compatible with Mac OS X. The new printer drivers are compatible with the Leopard version and available in a single version that supports both Power PC and Intel-based Mac computers.
