What is the difference between the A and B encoding module position
This first thing to remember is to always switch off the printer before any encoding module manipulation.
The A position which is the standard one is used to encode magnetic card with the strip on the bottom and smart cards with the smart on the top.
On the B position, the magnetic strip can be encoded from the top and the smart from the bottom.
For example, if you need to print data on the same side than the magnetic stripe, this B position will increase your production speed, because cards will not be flipped.
