1-3y:  A layer of protective varnish is applied onto the card at the end of the printing process to extend the card lifespan to up to 3 years (under normal conditions of use).
 
+3y:   Lamination by application of a protective polyester film onto a card’s surface to protect it from wear and tear and UV rays, and to fight forgery.

Standard: Dye-Sublimation color printing brings a first level of security compared to paper documents.
 
High:  A holographic image is added to the card to fight forgery.
 
Very High:  A patch (transparent or holographic for even more security) is applied onto the card, which makes forgery virtually impossible.
