2012 - Innovation and focus on the logic of renewal

2011 was a year of mixed turmoil for all of us. We have gone through thick and thin: a financial crisis; an economic turndown; many geopolitical events; natural and environmental disasters that unfortunately affected many of us. There were many times when we were in deep waters but thankfully, however, we managed to stay the course and, eventually, 2011 posted positive results for most of us.

In 2012, the effects of the previous year’s backlash are expected to be felt. We will be at risk, with poor visibility. To acquire the resources to make meaningful progress, we have decided to invest in innovation and focus on the logic of renewal.
The launch plan that we have initiated with Zenius last September is the most ambitious one in our history: we have renewed our range of printers and our offering of consumables, launched new solutions, services and software components, while always being in tune with our principles: quality made affordable at the best price.
 
We will have to prove ourselves to be bold, enthusiastic and combative, and stand shoulder to shoulder to weather the storm of this turbulent period. I am confident that, together, we will sail smoothly through this.

2011 has been an exciting and rewarding year for Evolis Inc. One of the most defining moments has been the launch of Zenius, our latest card printer that marks the beginning of a new era for the company. Fast, easy-to-use and environmentally friendly, Zenius is a must-try card printer. But Evolis is not only about innovative card printing solutions. We strive to provide our distributors and resellers with superior sales, marketing and technical support every day as we believe that this is the only way to lay out solid foundations for a strong growth with our partners.

2012 will be no exception and with great announcements coming up, we are confident that Evolis will once again offer significant growth opportunities to the channel.

First of all, I wish to thank all our Business Partners and Customers for their continued support and a good overall performance in 2011. In spite of worldwide turbulent environment, several tragic natural disasters in our region, together with increased competitive market situation, we managed to pull off a very satisfactory result. Without your commitment, perseverance and confidence, this would not have been possible.
I would also like to take the opportunity to welcome several new partners from the region into the “Evolis family”, as a result of our strategy and efforts to extend our distribution into new geographical and vertical markets. We look forward to a mutually fruitful collaboration over the years to come.

2011 was also marked by the launch of the Zenius, our newest entry level printer with high-end specifications and features, which has received remarkably positive feedback from our partners and end-users, not only in our region. We believe this printer together with new additions to our product offer will, in 2012, reinforce our position as the region’s leading brand and elevate our competitiveness to a new level.

In 2012 we have set ourselves an important objective: to work closer and provide better sales and marketing support to our partners. You will, therefore, see Evolis being more active and present in the market place than ever.
