Taking the opportunity at the trade show Cartes 2002 in Paris, Evolis Card Printer, a French manufacturer of plastic card printers, presented its brand new monochrome printer: the Tattoo. Being a real little revolution, the Tattoo is a mixture of technology and innovation.
Its thermal transfer technology makes it possible to print texts, barcodes, graphics and logos in monochrome (eight colours at your choice) on pre-printed or blank cards. Representing the ideal for visitor badges, loyalty cards, subscription cards, and much more, the
Tattoo can be integrated into all types of environment: office, bank receptions, shop counters. The Tattoo is today the most compact of all plastic card printers.
A mixture of technology and innovation, the Tattoo is provided with a detachable, but completely closed feeder which makes it possible to prepare several series of cards and to guarantee an optimal printing quality. This technology is all the more revolutionary as it is linked to an automatic gauge which senses the thickness of the cards each time the feeder is installed in the printer. The Tattoo also represents a double functioning mode: manual feeding card by card (card introduced at the front) and automatic feeding thanks to its feeder for 100 cards.
