How can I perform an advanced cleaning of the whole printer?

Advanced cleaning can be done when the printer is dirty, after a long period of operation or simply to prevent any feeding issue.
Important note: this cleaning procedure is different from the one recommended in the warranty conditions.
For the feeder:

• To manually clean the feeder rollers, open the door and send the following command to the printer: Sci
• Take a cleaning card and insert it in one feeder (#1 or #2), while pressing the black card sensor at the same time.
• Do not hesitate to use several cleaning cards.

IMPORTANT: do not let the card enter the feeder. Hold it tight. Feeder engines are powerful!
Press the button from the control panel to stop the cleaning process!

For the flip-over station:
To manually clean the flip-over station, open/remove the black cover and send the following command to the printer: Scf
The engine will start run. Clean both grey rollers with the Evolis cleaning card as below:

• You can rotate the flip-over station manually to clean the opposite running rollers
• Do not hesitate to use several cleaning cards.

Press the button from the control panel to stop the cleaning process!

Printing module:

1. Open the lid (keep it opened), remove the ribbon and the feeder.
2. Press and hold the control panel button and clean manually all the running rollers with a cleaning card. Use several cleaning cards if necessary.
3. Clean also the cleaning roller and the print head ceramics with the Evolis cleaning kit.
