Monochrome ribbons for Zenius printers: a step ahead to outstanding user-friendliness
Our ribbons are placed in a cartridge, for a one shot installation. When installing the ribbon, the Zenius printer instantly identifies the Evolis High Trust® ribbon and automatically initiates a calibration process that allows printouts with optimal quality.
With this recognition system that is unique to Evolis High Trust®, the user knows exactly how much of the ribbon capacity is remaining, as this information is readily available from the Print Center on the PC.
Similarly, when the ribbon is nearing its end, an alert is displayed on-screen. In this way, you can anticipate for your next printing.
The blister packaging is in PET so it is as well recyclable as a water bottle, and the cartridge is made of recycled material.

Save money with the Evolis' Ribbon saver feature
When you use an Evolis monochrome ribbon and thanks to our ribbon saver feature, you significantly increase the number of cards to be printed with one single ribbon.
Indeed, the surface used on the ribbon corresponds to the real printed surface plus a 7 mm jump and not the surface of a whole card:

Special Monochrome ribbons
Evolis offers specific monochrome ribbons: BlackWax, Signature and Scratch off.
The difference between the standard black monochrome ribbon and the BlackWax one is in the ink composition.
The BlackWax ribbon will enable you to print on special cards (like paper or ABS cards in example) which are not compatible with the standard black ribbon.
The Scratch-off ribbon is a special ribbon which produces a grey effect that can be scratched off. This feature is ideal for covering a gift card value or confidential code.
The White Signature ribbon allows you to print an area on the card where you will then be able to write directly on it with a pen.
