Evolis expands its range of identification accessories through an enhanced and diversified offering
Angers, February 12, 2015 - Evolis, a worldwide leader in printing systems and personalization solutions for plastic cards, announces the availability of a new range of identification accessories for the purpose of hassle-free and convenient identification of people and goods.
In July 2013, Evolis launched an accessory offering for plastic cards, leveraging the expertise of its subsidiary, Sogedex Accessories, a specialist in identification accessories and supplies. Evolis resellers and distributors soon expressed an avid interest for such products, which resulted in the Group expanding its range of identification accessories. Consequently, 27 new products were recently added to the offering, thus providing a choice range twice as large as was previously available.
Accessories are essential to identification applications, and complements card personalization and issuance solutions, which make the core of Evolis’ business. They support multiple applications in a variety of domains that require and use highly secured personal data for applications, such as professional badges, transportation passes, event badges and more.
The revamped and diversified range hosts badge holders, lanyards and card cases. Note that selected accessories, such as lanyards, can be personalized. All products have undergone rigorous quality control and are sold through Evolis channel partners (distributors and resellers). Presently, these accessories are available in Europe and Africa only, but they will be later offered in the Americas, India and the Asia-Pacific region, wherever Evolis is present.
This launch is part of the Evolis diversification strategy undertaken by the Group in 2013, with the broader aim to provide all customers with a consistent and comprehensive offering that includes card printers, accessories, software solutions and services. The new offering enables the Group to consolidate its position as a world leader in its key markets, and thus, tap new markets and industries with innovative solutions in tune with customers’ requirements.
