Before you install a printing ribbon, make sure that the printer driver is suitably configured.
- Open the printer cover.
- Press the latch to unlock the print head bracket and rotate it to the right until it reaches its vertical position
- Remove any ribbon that may be still inside the printer.
- Insert the new ribbon in the printer, while making sure it is correctly positioned.
- Fold back the print head bracket and lock it in position.
- Close the printer cover. The ribbon will, by default, orient itself to its correct position.
