NEW: The Evolis printer drivers available in 11
languages! |
|
|
|
Evolis crosses a new milestone in making its tool
available on a global scale. From July 2009, all the
printer drivers will be available in 11 widely
spoken languages. |
|
|
|
This major step is part of Evolis’ project to
localize its offering and related marketing tools (websites,
brochures, user guides, etc.). This makes it
available to the largest number of users who can now
seamlessly install and run the Evolis solutions. All
Evolis drivers, including the setup wizard and
configuration menu, will be available in the
following languages: English, French, German,
Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian,
Korean, simplified Chinese, and traditional Chinese. |

These drivers will be ready for download from the
Evolis website at the beginning of July 2009.
Shortly thereafter, from October 2009, they will be
shipped along with the printer. |

NEW encoder UHF for Pebble and Dualys |
|

|
|

|
Evolis provides a new encoder for its Pebble &
Dualys printers, an encoder that fully supports the
EPC GEN1/GEN2 (ISO 18000) standard.
The UHF (Ultra High Frequency) technology supports
long-range detection and is already commonplace for
tracking purposes in logistics. It leverages
frequencies in the 862 to 955 MHz range (instead of
a frequency of 13.56 MHz in traditional standards).
Main applications: access control and transit. |
