Key Account Manager North America (M/F)

MAIN MISSION

We are looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients, existing or new customers. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements.

The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.

AUTONOMY & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Key Account Manager is part of the sales team of North America and is reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director of US & Canada.

The KA Manager does not have a team to manage but work in cooperation with internal team members in the United States of America and at Group level in France.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

·         Define in coordination with US & Canada sales management, sectors or profiles of target customers,

·         Define and propose means to implement an effective and offensive sales approach:

o   Identify prescribers,

o   Develop the KA business through a global commercial approach including Retail players and intermediary companies involved in the selling of solutions (scale manufacturers ...), and make it grow,

o   Organize/plan and attend customer’s visits, take part in exhibitions or events dedicated to Key Accounts:

·         Provide market, technological and competitive intelligence,

·         Hunt new customers, create and develop a new network,

·         Play a major role in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships,

·         Select relevant information and implement action plan,

·         Ensure the coordination of the various players involved within or outside the company,

·         Bring a clear vision of sales activities:

o   Providing regular detailed reports and using our CRM (SalesForce),

o   Prepare forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics,

o   Follow up the credit limits of the customers and ensure low or no overdue in payments in coordination with the credit manager:

·         Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements,

·         Expanding the relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their needs,

·         Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure a long term relationship with Evolis,

·         Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner,

·         Streamline the communication between key customers and internal teams,

·         Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.

Your scope of activities may be extended to Banking and governmental sector.

The mission of prospecting, monitoring and developing a strategic customer network’s aim to generate revenue for Evolis Inc.:

·         Promote and make refer Evolis solutions, facilitate integration with customer’s ERP,

·         Detect potentials: provide customer needs qualifications and possible references, respond to tenders,…

·         Create sustainable partnerships with major key players within the industry,

·         Adapt the response or offer to the customer or potential customer until closing the deal,

·         To make sure all conditions of the contract are met: setting up, roll out, training, following-up after-sales,

·         Use Salesforce to check potential customers, key accounts and other sales opportunities.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with strategic customers. The professional will be able to identify needs and requirements to promote our company’s solutions and achieve mutual satisfaction.

o Knowledge:

·         General technical knowledge acquired to be operational quickly,

·         Marketing and technical knowledge are required to interact with different representatives,

·         Knowledge of products (printers, software,…), technological environment and high tech are a plus,

·         Ideally have a network with the retailers,

o Know-how:

·         Excellent skills of the sales approaches and ability to work with strategic key accounts customers in B-to-B,

·         Ability to manage projects and negotiations over the long time period,

·         Capacity to close deals,

·         Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.

o Personal and Professional qualities:

·         Listening,

·         Analytical skills,

·         Empathy and persuasiveness to put forward your point of view in negotiations,

·         Assertiveness, resistance and dedication because sales can be part of a long process,

·         Reactivity and availability for meeting clients in a best way,

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels,

·         Excellent organizational skills.

 

PROFILE

Education & background:

·         Minimum BSc/BA or Master level preferred, sales or engineering,

·         Proven experience as a key account manager for 4 to 6 years,

·         Experience of sales in retail & POS.

Languages : English native/fluent

Other: SPANISH and/or FRENCH would be a plus.

 

BUSINESS TRIPS

·         Willing to travel to developing business in US & Canada,

·         Willing to travel to the Headquarter in France for the Global Sales and marketing meeting once a year for one week or for training.

 

OTHER INFORMATION

All travel expenses for business purpose will be reimbursed.
