Job Purpose

The role of the Manager - Finance & Accounts will be to manage and monitor day - to - day financial operations of the company

Qualification & Experience
• Chartered Accountant (preferably 1st/2nd attempt) and Bachelor's degree in Finance or
Accounting
• 5-8 years of post-qualification experience
• Must have experience of working in Multi-National Companies, preferably from Trading
company

Roles & Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts

  •  Manage all finance & accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Cost Accounting
  •  Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
  •  Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  •  Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, MIS Reports
  •  Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  •  Ensure smooth month-end and year-end close process closures
  •  Ensure control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  •  Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings like TDS, GST, CIT, Advance Tax etc.
  •  Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  •  Responsible for management of Working Capital of the unit
  •  Responsible for Internal, Statutory and Tax audit of the unit
  •  Additional responsibilities allotted by CFO
  •  Financial Planning & Analysis (FPNA)
  •  Knowledge of India Accounting Standard and IFRS for Group reporting
  •  Managing Sales receivable

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient in Advanced MS Excel
  • Working experience on Accounting software, preferably on M3
  • Hands on experience on Financial statement preparations and general ledger
  • Detailed oriented and analytical mind

Language Requirement

Fluent English and Hindi

The job is located in Mumbai. The contract is local.
