Evolis, the world leader in plastic card personalization systems, and Bizerba France, technology solutions expert for fresh food departments, announce that their price tag solution has been chosen to equip all fresh food sections of Auchan’s 120 hypermarkets in France by 2018.


Following an in-depth assessment of available solutions, Auchan Retail France chose the solution from Evolis/Bizerba as its standard system to equip the fresh food departments at the group’s hypermarkets in France. The printing solution for plastic cards allows staff to update and print new price tags within seconds. The tags include all specific information required by the various departments, such as the origin and designation of the products, or the presence of allergens and thus comply with the European and US food labeling regulations. Bizerba France handles the marketing, installation, and servicing associated with this solution, which is fully interfaced with Auchan’s internal labeling management software in order to ensure full data integration and standardized price tags across all stores.
